The trip combines a number of the greatest attractions of the South of France: charming towns, beautiful gardens, unique art museums and exciting architecture.
Experience the Rothschild family's lavish Villa & Garden Ephrussi, the cities of Nice, Saint Paul de Vence and Èze on the Côte d'Azur and Aix-en-Provence, St. Remy, Gordes and Avignon (on the UNESCO World Heritage List) in Provence. On the last day we visit Arles and the charming coastal town of Antibes.
During the trip there will be the opportunity to experience works by Picasso, Renoir, Chagall, Cézanne, Matisse and van Gogh, who all lived in the South of France for extended periods, where they found bright light, strong colours and a mild climate.
We stay in two good hotels on the trip: the first three nights at the excellent Chateau Le Cagnard SLH 4* in Cagnes-sur-Mer and the last two nights at La Régalido 4* in the small Provençal town of Fontvieille.
