Bloom Garden Tours is a family owned company founded by Kasper Christiansen & Bettina Valdivieso i 2011. The company is based in Copenhagen, and fully bonded by the Danish Travel Association (Rejsegarantifonden, with registry number 3365. Also, we are IATA certified with IATA number 17236063.
Bloom Garden Tours specialize in quality trips with an emphasis on culture, gardens, gastronomy and wine. The trips are usually made in excellent 4* hotels and we fly direct to and from the destination on the vast majority of trips. We plan tailor-made trips with a personal angle - that is why we often use smaller hotels and restaurants that offer the opportunity to experience local cuisine and wine.

Kasper Christiansen holds a University Degree from the University of Copenhagen in Cultural History and has also studied communication, language and history at the University of Barcelona. Kasper has a thorough knowledge of culture, language, architecture and history (including art history and garden history) and has given numerous courses at the Folkeuniversitetet on these topics. Kasper has been travelling thoroughly in England, Ireland, Wales, Spain, Portugal, France and Italy.
Bettina Valdivieso is founder and owner of Bloom Garden Tours. Bettina is a food engineer from UCA in San Salvador, El Salvador. She also has a master's degree from the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) specializing in food safety and quality control. Bettina works in a wide range of activities, including contact with and close cooperation with suppliers such as airlines, hotels, restaurants, bus companies, guides, museums, gardens, etc. Bettina ensures that the logistics of the trips work perfectly.
Hans Peder Christiansen has an in-depth knowledge of garden design and gardens in Great Britain. For more than 15 years, Hans Peder has arranged garden trips to England, Wales and Ireland through his company Gardening.dk. The trips are characterized by tailor-made travel programs with stays in excellent hotels and visits to unique gardens.
Giovanna has studied Communication and Marketing and has many years of experience in the fields of marketing, communication, production and customer service. She has had close collaboration with a wide range of international customers and suppliers, including General Motors, Baileys, Unilever, Loreal, Chrysler and H&M. Giovanna works with contact with suppliers, production of trips and daily customer contact.
Bloom Garden Tour specializes in quality trips that are based on thorough research and emphasize culture and gardens, good hotels, gastronomy & wine. The trips are based on the following principles:
The trips emphasize local gastronomy, good wines and the atmosphere of local quality restaurants. On several of our trips, lunches or dinners at local restaurants will be included, some with a recommendation in the Michelin guide.
Quality hotels: Hotels with a good location are used, usually 4-star hotels. We try to find lovely boutique hotels that have a local feel, and in the cities to use hotels that are centrally located.
No hidden fees: All entrance fees to the museums, monuments, gardens, etc. mentioned in the travel program are included in the price of the trip. We do not work with hidden fees, so there will be no surprises in the form of out-of-pocket payments at the destination.
Thorough research: We research all our trips thoroughly and have been to all destinations ourselves. We try to gain as much as possible in-depth knowledge of the sights, hotels and restaurants that are included in the trip.
We have an in-depth knowledge of the languages and cultures of the countries where we organize tours to. We present the areas we love most on our trips to England, Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal and Italy.
Our goal is to give travelers a number of unforgettable experiences on our trips. This requires thorough preparation, a passion for the destination and good tour guides. We only plan trips where we have a personal relationship with the destination and are passionate about passing on the great experiences we ourselves have had on site.
